From the very beginning of the project, BTICINO requested a solution capable of meeting specific requirements:

- AUTOMATION OF PRODUCT HANDLING BETWEEN THE VARIOUS PHASES
- PREPARATION OF THE PRODUCT FOR FORKLIFT HANDLING

TOSA SOLUTION
The solution developed by TOSA involved the creation of an integrated system for the complete management of the process:
- DOUBLE STRAPPING MACHINE FOR MANAGING THE VARIOUS STAGES OF BUNDLING
- AUTOMATED HANDLING SYSTEM
- CARTESIAN HANDLING SYSTEM FOR PRODUCT TRANSFER
The line was designed to perform:
- STRAPPING OF INDIVIDUAL PACKS
- AUTOMATIC PRODUCT TRANSFER BETWEEN STATIONS
- POSITIONING OF WOODEN BEAMS AT THE BASE OF THE LOAD
- FINAL STRAPPING TO ENSURE FORKLIFT HANDLING
PARTNERSHIP & DEVELOPMENT
The project was developed in close collaboration with the customer, using a co-design approach.
The specific layout and product handling requirements called for dedicated R&D activity aimed at creating a solution that perfectly integrated within the available space.
The joint effort between the teams enabled the development of a highly customized system capable of precisely meeting operational requirements.
RESULT
The implementation of the TOSA solution has enabled BTICINO to fully automate the strapping and handling process, improving efficiency and the quality of the final result.
