TOSA SOLUTION
The solution developed by TOSA involved the creation of a fully automated line, designed to handle complex and non-standard loads:
- DOUBLE GROUND-LEVEL LOADING STATIONS (80 mm) FOR PALLET TRUCK FEEDING
- DIMENSIONAL CONTROL SYSTEM FOR LOAD VALIDATION
- SCANNER FOR LABEL READING AND WRAPPING CYCLE ASSIGNMENT
- PALLET CENTERING AND ALIGNMENT SYSTEM
- STACKING AND LIFTING SYSTEM FROM GROUND LEVEL
The core of the line consists of:
- TWO LARGE-DIAMETER RING WRAPPERS FOR LOADS UP TO 1800 mm
- TOP COVER APPLICATION SYSTEM FOR WATERPROOF CYCLE AND PROTECTION AGAINST EXTERNAL AGENTS
- AUTOMATIC FILM ROLL CHANGE TO ENSURE CONTINUOUS PRODUCTION
- OUTFEED CONVEYOR LINE FOR AUTOMATIC UNLOADING
The entire system has been designed according to TOSA’s low-maintenance principles, utilizing components and technical solutions to minimize maintenance requirements.




PARTNERSHIP & DEVELOPMENT
The project was developed through close collaboration between the TOSA and ELGIGANTEN teams, which was essential for addressing the complexities associated with handling irregular loads.
A key element was the joint effort to define operational guidelines for pallet composition, in order to ensure full compatibility with a fully automated system.
The alignment between the logistics process and technology has enabled smooth and efficient management throughout the entire line.
RESULT
The implementation of the TOSA solution has enabled ELGIGANTEN to fully automate the stabilization phase of outgoing pallets, even in the presence of non-standard loads.
The system ensures:
